Wild Card of the Week: Influences All Signs
Seven of Swords (Moon in Aquarius) ‐ Futility
The 7 of Swords, represents the sabotaging mind. What you know you want is represented by the central sword, the other six swords chip away at our determination, goal or core belief. They represent all the reasons and self‐doubt around that which we wish. Some of the negating thoughts, as represented by the six swords: yes ‐ but it is too complicated; I can't, it won't work, I'm not talented enough; I don't care enough. The Moon in Aquarius symbolizes erratic emotions thus further disturbing the mind. So, for all signs, the energy of the card will overlay some of the following:
Aries: March 21 - April 19
Knight of Swords ‐ The Fire of Air
The Knight of Swords is also known in Qabalah as the Lord of Winds and Breezes. This is a strong masculine mental force. He is a stormy and violent emotion applied to mind. Such a character, if personal, would be that of a person who is: clever, skillful, active.
Taurus: April 20 - May 20
Knight of Disks ‐ The Fire of Earth
The masculine force is focused on the element of earth. The King of Disks is financially secure and one who enjoys food and wine. Hence, he is a good business person, persistent and possibly stubborn. He is a force of growth but tends to be slow moving.
Gemini: May 21 - June 20
Seven of Disks ‐ Saturn in Taurus ‐ Failure
This is about the compost before the seeds are planted. The seven of disks indicates a pause in the garden of finance, health and physical relationships. This is also fear of failure and fear of success which is generated by negative past experiences. Fear constricts energy and obfuscates the direction in which one needs to proceed. Therefore, our fear of discomfort is our worst enemy.
Cancer: June 21 - July 22
The Moon ‐ Atu Eighteen ‐ Astrological sign ‐ Pisces
The Moon is often seen as the Goddess. The Moon symbolizes the rebirth of light out of darkness, bright intellect overcoming the dark denizens of our sub‐conscious mind. It is out of the illusion of life and of death that one must live the choices they make. This card implies the cyclic energy at work and the heralding of change.
